Words from the President

The land of Bengal has always been a land of conscience—a land of peace, order, and harmony. It is a land that has never remained silent in the face of injustice. Yet today, millions are suffering in silence. Many are helpless, denied justice.

Farmers are losing their land, workers are losing their lives, students are losing their futures, families are losing their hope, and children are losing a green, pollution-free world. 'Bangla Janajagaran Mancha' was born out of their anguish—driven by a simple yet firm conviction to stand by these helpless people. We must rise up; we must speak for the people, listen to the people, and stand by the people.

We are neither a political party, nor a for-profit organization. We are a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to building a greener earth through patriotism, national unity, communal harmony, and tree plantation, while standing compassionately beside the destitute and helpless.

We believe that every human being has the right to dignity, education, a self-reliant life, equal opportunities, and justice.

Our goals include protecting the forests, ensuring the proper use of national resources, preventing land erosion by rivers and oceans, and standing by the people living along these banks in their daily struggles. We believe — "Bharat abar jagat sobhai shreshtho ason lobe." And we shall be its proud citizens.

From the cries of the people affected by the Padma river erosion in Lalgola to the tragic loss of workers' lives in the Nalhati mines, we stand by those who suffer. We fight for the farmers who do not receive fair prices for their crops, for the workers, for the students, for the women, and for the neglected, oppressed, and helpless people who are pushed into the ruthless darkness of societal marginalization.

  1. This organisation will always stand by someone who is socially affected.
  2. This organisation will always stand by the helpless, deprived people. This organisation will stand by the socially and financially backward people, workers, and exploited people.
  3. This organisation will help in getting proper justice, fair rights, medical treatment and education.
  4. This organisation will always be there to save agricultural work and farmers in this agriculture-dominated country and to provide various government assistance and support.
  5. This organisation will extend a helping hand to all the people going abroad, starting from migrant workers going to other states or countries.
  6. This organisation will constructively stand by the people by drawing the attention of higher authorities to the problems of the medical and health sectors.
  7. This organisation is committed to conducting free health check-up camps, blood donation camps, eye check-up camps, etc.
  8. This organisation is committed to creating awareness in the society through living with the bond of communal harmony and brotherhood intact and from time to time through social and educational activities.
  9. This organisation will fight for education. It is our dream that Bengali medium schools will be better than English medium schools. This organisation will help students in their development by conducting career counseling and awareness workshops in different parts of the state so that talented and qualified students can study in the right place and in the right subjects. This organisation will always be vigilant so that education does not stop due to lack of money. Our children will study and be well educated. The whole state, the country and the whole world will be represented - the children of your Bengal and my children - this organisation will fight for that.

  11. This organisation will be in deputation and movement for the negligence of government departments for the work of the people.
  12. This organisation will conduct various workshops to eliminate discrimination between women and men and for women's self-reliance.
  13. Addiction is a terrible curse in society. Starting from teenagers and now even among adults, the use of drugs is constantly increasing, so this organisation is determined to build an addiction-free society.
  14. This organisation is determined to build an environment-friendly society through tree plantation and land conservation.
  15. This organisation will fight for land protection, river and sea protection, balance of the biosphere, livelihood of people, etc.
  16. This organisation will encourage the creation of environmentally friendly and marginalized people's business initiatives.
  17. This organisation will support people by providing various types of legal assistance.
  18. This organisation is committed to eliminating superstitions and building a science-minded society.
